Improvement of our own practice can also be achieved by discovering other initiatives and taking them as an example of reference

The Observatory is going through the different relations and projects identified until now in order to select those experiences outstanding for any of the following qualitative criteria.

Selected experiences of STAKEHOLDERS and relations

  • Ownership: appropiation by local and regional governments of the cooperation policy and its effects in order to make them part of their policies, operation and organisation.
  • Concerted action: coordination and joint efforts to optimise scattered initiatives in favour of wider territorial action frameworks.
  • Territorial partnership: participation and commitment of public and private local stakeholders in both territories and involvement and engagement of citizenship in the management of decentralised cooperation
  • Supra territorial impact: effect in the regional, national and international political agendas
  • Reciprocity: real exchange model on an equal footing.
