The new post-pandemic reality, and the complicated global challenges that prevail today, determine and will determine the policies of all governments worldwide, but especially local and regional governments.

In this sense, the 2030 Agenda with the 17 Goals, as a universal reference framework as well as decentralized cooperation reappear as key elements to achieve the structural changes necessary to achieve optimal sustainable development but also the recovery from this global pandemic.

The Decentralized Cooperation Observatory presents its 2021 online training offer, appropriate to the current context, with the aim of enhancing the role of local and regional governments and strengthening their capacities to develop local public policies focused on international action and decentralized cooperation, and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The online courses is taught simultaneously in different languages and is free for all participants, since the costs are borne by the promoting entities so that this training is available to as many local and regional governments (LRGs) as possible from different parts of the world.

IMPORTANT!: The pre-registration period is extended until September 9, 2021.

Online trainings are:
