ECLAC and the Development Centre of the OECD, elaborate this document that notes how some developing and emerging economies, despite having increased their national income levels, still have multidimensional development problems.

To address these challenges, the analysis raises the need for a more comprehensive approach to international development cooperation that, combined with effective domestic policies, is capable of converting that economic growth into lasting development gains that favor the exchange of knowledge and technology transfer.
