The Barcelona Provincial Council launch its SDG website. Do you commit?

On September 25th, it has been three years since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which aims to eradicate poverty, achieve peace and universal justice, ensure the prosperity of all the people of the world and reduce the effects of change climate. The 2030 Agenda is structured in an action plan formed by 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that will mark the global action for development until the year 2030.

To commemorate this anniversary, the Barcelona Provincial Council launches the ODS DIBA website, which provides updated information, resources and materials on the SDGs to the municipalities. The page aims to be the meeting point of the municipalities of the demarcation about everything related to the 2030 Agenda; a form is made available to them so that the municipalities can share their actions to locate the SDGs, as well as tools for the implementation of the objectives both at an institutional and individual level. On the website you can find an updated selection of good practices for the implementation of the SDGs, the agenda of related activities and the information shared on Twitter with the hashtag #ODSDiba, among other issues.

Since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda, the Barcelona Provincial Council has shown itself to be committed to achieving the SDGs and has put in place a strategy for its implementation, both in the Provincial Council itself and in the territory of the demarcation, and also at the international level, contributing to global action for sustainable development. This website is part of the institutional campaign "Yes, I commit myself", which aims to promote the values of the 2030 Agenda and to accompany local governments in locating the SDGs in their territory.
