Third Regional Forum for Local Economic Development for Latin America and the Caribbean
On May 7th, Third Regional Forum for Local Economic Development for Latin America and the Caribbean (LED) will take place in the city of Barranquilla (Colombia), in which the Barcelona Provincial Council will participate.
Under the title "Local Economic Development in fragile and affected territories: a framework of resilience and cohesion for sustainable and inclusive development," the forum will bring together representatives of local, regional and national government entities, international organizations and institutions of the civil society to exchange proposals for the economic development of the Latin American and Caribbean region, under a focus on local economic development as a strategic vehicle for localising 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and SDG’s.
In parallel to the Forum, it will be held on 8 and 9 May, the seminar "Sustainable Tourism as a tool for local development", organized by United Regions Organization (ORU-FOGAR) and Barcelona Provincial Council. You can consult the seminar program at this link.
