Call for Mercociudades to finance exchange and cooperation projects

The South-South Cooperation Program of the network of cities Mercociudades, opens a new call to finance projects of cooperation and exchange, whose main theme is governance and innovation, with special emphasis on citizen participation and connected with the New Urban Agenda and the 2030 Agenda.

Participation is open to local governments, educational institutions and civil society organizations of cities members of Mercociudades, as well as universities of the Montevideo University Association of Universities (AUGM). The deadline for submission of applications is open until August 31.

The Mercociudades South-South Cooperation program, which was created in 2016 as a result of the strategic alliance with this Observatory, aims to promote, make visible and systematize decentralised cooperation actions among local governments of Mercociudades and third parties.
