Call for South-to-South cooperation projects 2019

The South-to-South Cooperation Programme of Mercociudades (PCSSM) is launching a call for regional initiatives under the theme "Culture as the fourth pillar of integration and sustainable development". The objective of this call is part of the overall objective of the PCSSM, and aims to promote, visualise, formalise and systematise cooperation and exchange actions between local governments of Mercociudades and third parties. 

The selected initiatives will have access to financing of up to $ 10,000 and the call is open to member cities and associated states of Mercociudades, as well as Universities of the University Association Montevideo Group and Civil Society Organisations. 

The main thematic axis -"Culture as the fourth pillar of integration and sustainable development"- should be guided by the concepts and proposals of the New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, with special emphasis on the "Right to the City".
